Official Rules
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
NEITHER PURCHASE OF A PRODUCT OF SERVICES, NOR ANY MONETARY PAYMENT, WILL INCREASE YOUR ABILITY TO WIN OR IS REQUIRED TO ENTER.
2. Sponsor and Eligibility. The Sponsor of this Extreme Window Makeover Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is Leaf Home Enhancements, LLC, dba WindowWorks, having a place of business at 1595 Georgetown Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236 (“Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United States, who, at the time of entering the Sweepstakes, are (a) twenty-one (21) years of age or older and (b) a Qualifying Homeowner (as such term is hereinafter defined) in specified counties in the state of Illinois, Indiana, or Wisconsin (collectively “Eligible Location”). The specified counties are Boone County, IL, Cook County, IL, DeKalb County, IL, DuPage County, IL, Grundy County, IL, Kane County, IL, Kankakee County, IL, Kendall County, IL, Lake County, IL, McHenry County, IL, Will County, IL, Winnebago County, IL, Lake County, IN, and Kenosha County, WI.
The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, iHeartMedia + Entertainment, Inc. (“iHeartMedia”), and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is governed by (i) these official rules (“Rules”), and (ii) subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
The Sweepstakes is designed to give eligible entrants the opportunity to win a Prize (as defined herein) in accordance with these Rules.
For the purposes of these Rules, the term “Qualifying Homeowner” means a person who, at the time of entry in the Sweepstakes, owns a home in the Eligible Location.
For purposes of these Rules, the term “Landing Page” means www.mywindowworks.com/makeover.
Agreement to Rules/Privacy: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules and acknowledge that information, including information you provide, which identifies you or can reasonably be used to identify you (“Personal Information”) will be processed in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://privacy.leafhome.com, at time of entry, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. By participating, you also agree to accept the decisions of Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the Sweepstakes. Additionally, you acknowledge that iHeartMedia may process Personal Information as described in iHeartMedia’s Privacy Policy at https://www.iheart.com/content/privacy-and-cookie-notice/ and that iHeartMedia may share Personal Information, such as your name, email address, physical address, and phone number, with Sponsor who will use that Personal Information as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (https://privacy.leafhome.com). See Section 4 for more details on how iHeartMedia may use Personal Information in connection with this Sweepstakes.
3. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes will run in the Eligible Location from March 17, 2025 to April 13, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Entries (as defined herein) will be accepted starting on March 17, 2025 at 8:00am Central Time (“CT”) and ending on April 13, 2025 at 11:59pm CT. All Entries must be received by April 13, 2025, 11:59pm CT. Sponsor’s computer is the official Sweepstakes clock.
4. How to Enter:
On-Air Entry: You may enter the Sweepstakes during the applicable Sweepstakes Period (see schedule below) by calling into WLIT-FM, iHeartMedia + Entertainment, Inc. (the “Station”), 233 North Michigan Avenue, 30th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601 during each Entry Period (as such term is hereinafter defined) and be selected as a “finalist.” During each Entry Period, a “sounder” or cue to call will be aired at various times along with a message instructing listeners to call for a chance to become a potential Finalist. The Station may or may not choose to announce exact times the cues will be played.
The entrant must be the designated caller, from all callers calling-in from the Station to the phone number announced; the designated caller, if eligible, will be declared a potential Finalist. If Sponsor determines the designated caller is not eligible, Sponsor may select the next consecutive eligible caller as the potential Finalist for that playtime. Listen to the Station for details on specific times to play. The dates and times of station participation may vary and shall be determined solely by the Station and announced on air, at their sole discretion, which may or may not choose to air all playtimes due to programming obligations and other factors.
The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for entrants not making timely phone calls to the Station or other timed entry as a result of the delays in the Internet stream. Entrants should not rely on streamed broadcasts to participate in any promotion.
WARNING: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations and other delays in the online streaming of its broadcast signal. Listeners of the online stream may not be able to participate in, or may be disadvantaged in participating in on-air promotions and should contact their local station to determine participation. On air Sweepstakes not valid on weekends and holidays.
By participating in the On-Air Entry portion of the Sweepstakes, entrants understand they are providing their Personal Information to the Station. The Station will serve as the “Prize Provider” of the On-Air Finalist Prizes and share Finalist’s first and last name, phone number, address, and email address with the Sponsor in order for the On-Air Finalists to be eligible and able to participate in the Grand Prize Event (see Section 6).
Online Entry: You may also submit an online entry on the Landing Page during the Entry Period.
Mail-in Entry: You may also mail an entry during the Entry Period to: Leaf Home Enhancements, LLC, Attn: Extreme Window Makeover Sweepstakes, 1595 Georgetown Road, Hudson, OH 44236. Mailed entries must contain your name, address, telephone number, and a simple statement affirming your desire to be entered into the Sweepstakes and be postmarked and received during the Entry Period (“Mail-in Entry” together with Online Entry, an “Entry”).
Each Entry must fulfill all Sweepstakes requirements, and the Winner (as defined herein) must satisfy all eligibility requirements, as specified herein, to be eligible to win a Prize (as defined herein). Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to these Rules may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. You may enter only once, and you must provide the information requested. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent these Rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent these Rules, your Entry may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
5. Finalists Selection: One (1) On-Air Finalist shall be determined on each Finalist Selection Date, set forth in the schedule above, for the “On-Air Entry Method”; and the remaining six (6) Finalists will be selected via a random drawing, on or about April 16, 2025, from among all eligible Online and Mail-in Entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor, whose decisions are final, shall conduct the random drawing for the six (6) remaining Finalists for the Sweepstakes.
Each Finalist must be available to attend, participate in, and be eligible for the Grand Prize Event. All costs associated with attending the Grand Prize Event, including, but not limited to any transportation to/from the event are the sole responsibility of each Finalist. Sponsor reserves, at its sole discretion, the right to choose an alternate Finalist in the event that a Finalist has been disqualified or is deemed ineligible for any reason.
Finalists will be notified as follows:
- On-Air Finalists will be notified on air at the time of their qualifying call in.
- Online and Mail-In Registration Finalists will be notified via the email address and/or phone number provided during registration.
Notification is deemed to have occurred immediately upon call-in or placing of a phone call or sending of an e-mail or any other form of communication Sponsor may use to contact the Finalists. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address, and/or telephone number of entrants. Sponsor is not obligated to leave voice mail, answering machine, or other message. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify a Finalist.
It is anticipated that there will be a total of ten (10) Finalists, but this number could change based on various factors such as a Finalist being deemed ineligible or unable to attend the Grand Prize drawing.
6. Grand Prize Event: Only verified and qualified Finalists may participate in the Grand Prize Event located at 570 E North Frontage Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Upon arrival to the Grand Prize Event, no later than 11:30:00am CT on April 19, 2025, all Finalists will be required to check in with Sponsor representatives and register to be eligible to participate in the Grand Prize Event. If, for any reason, any Finalist does not arrive to the Grand Prize Event and check in and register by 11:30:00am CT, such Finalist may be deemed ineligible and may be disqualified, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Finalist must be present to win, no stand-ins or substitutions will be permitted. Time of the Grand Prize Event is subject to change.
Grand Prize Winner Selection: The winner will be determined as follows:
Round 1: Up to ten (10) Finalists will attempt to open a window display. The five (5) Finalists that open a window display, will progress to Round 2.
Round 2: Five (5) Finalists will attempt to open window display. The two (2) Finalists that open a window display, will progress to the Final Round 3.
Final Round 3: Two (2) Finalists will attempt to open window display. The Finalist that opens a window display will be declared the grand prize winner.
If the Grand Prize winner is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner by conducting a random drawing.
A potential Sweepstakes winner is subject to verification, including verification of eligibility. If an entrant is unable to verify his/her information, the entrant will automatically be disqualified and their prize, if any, will be forfeited. Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner in accordance with these Official Rules in the event that any winner is disqualified, cannot be contacted, or is deemed ineligible for any reason, or is not available to participate in any applicable Sweepstakes events.
Notification is deemed to have occurred immediately in person upon being declared a Grand Prize winner. If the potential winner does not claim the prize within the appropriate time given upon, the entrant will automatically be disqualified, and their prize will be forfeited. If the potential winner declines to accept the prize to be awarded, the potential winner forfeits his/her prize and Sponsor reserves the right to determine an alternate winner in accordance with these Official Rules.
As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree and acknowledge that in order to receive a prize and be deemed a winner, entrants must sign an official waiver form provided by Sponsor or the applicable Prize Provider and agree to the terms herein, including but not limited to the prize conditions. The potential prize winners may (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility and any other form necessary to verify eligibility, along with the required releases within twenty-four hours after the first delivery attempt to entrants e-mail address in order for the potential prize winner to be qualified for the prize, unless otherwise stated herein or at the time of notification. A potential prize winner’s failure to return all required forms within this time period may result in the potential winner being disqualified and, in such event, Sponsor may randomly select an alternate Finalist/winner from among all remaining eligible entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole and discretion.
7. Prizes:
Four (4) On-Air Finalist Prizes: Each On-Air Finalist will receive a pair of concert tickets, valued at $150.00 (“On-Air Prize”) from Station. See below for applicable prize conditions.
Six (6) Online or Mail-In Finalist Prizes: Each Entry Finalist will receive a $100 Lettuce Entertain You gift card from Sponsor. See below for applicable prize conditions.
One (1) Grand Prize: The Grand Prize Winner will receive new windows and installation of such windows for their home in the Eligible Location, up to and not exceeding a total retail value of $25,000.00 (“Grand Prize”) from Sponsor. See Section 10 for Certain Conditions regarding the Grand Prize.
Actual or appraised value may differ at time of Prize award. The specifics of the Prize shall be solely determined by Sponsor, and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute another prize of equal or greater value. The Prize is non-transferable. Any and all Prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. No substitution of the Prize or transfer or assignment of the Prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
PRIZE CONDITIONS FOR PROMOTIONAL CARDS: Promotional cards shall include and herein be referenced as “promotional card(s)” collectively to any prefunded bank card, a gift card, an electronic gift card, stored-value card or certificate, a store card, merchant card, voucher for services or goods, a gift certificate or similar instrument and other redeemable instruments with value credit or the like that may be awarded are subject to terms, conditions and restrictions as set by issuer. Promotional cards are subject to the terms of use, applicable conditions and restrictions, including any expiration dates, promulgated by issuer of card. Promotional cards are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Redemption of the promotional card will be subject to the standard terms, conditions and restrictions applicable to the participating merchant and or the card issuer in effect on the day of issuance of the promotional card. The promotional card cannot be redeemed for the purchase of other promotional cards. Except as required by law, the promotional card cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash, or applied to any other account. The Sponsor is not responsible if any promotional card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. If the promotional card is lost or stolen, it will not be replaced. No substitutions allowed except by Sponsor at its sole discretion for a prize of comparable value.
PRIZE CONDITIONS FOR CONCERTS AND OTHER TICKETED EVENTS: For concert tickets, any other expenses or items not specifically listed, including but not limited to, transportation, accommodations, meals, parking, and souvenirs, are the responsibility of winner and/or winner’s guest(s). If a guest(s) is a minor, the minor guest(s) must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. If the ticketed event or any portion thereof is postponed, rained out, canceled, or for other reasons beyond Sponsor’s control does not occur, the Sponsor will not be responsible for replacing the ticketed portion of prize. Tickets are subject to certain terms and conditions specified thereon, and seat locations (if any) are as solely determined by Sponsor. Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution or any act or omissions whatsoever by the venue operator, prize provider or any other persons providing any prize-related services. If travel delays, cancellations or difficulty prevent arrival in time for the event, Sponsor is not responsible for awarding any compensation in lieu thereof. Tickets must be redeemed as stated in the prize notification or otherwise stated in the Official Rules. Winner must present state authorized identification prior to being awarded the prize. Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If prize is forfeited for any reason, winner will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation, and the prize will remain the property of Sponsor and will not be awarded, except as provided herein. Winner agrees to accept all space availability requirements established by the venue. Winner and guest(s) must comply with all applicable laws, and any rules and regulations established by the venue. Sponsor and the applicable venue representatives reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to winner (and his/her guest(s)) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the event or in any other objectionable behavior. Winner agrees that acceptance of the prize is done so entirely upon their own initiative, risk, and responsibility.
8. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received.
9. Taxes: Any valuation of the Prize stated above is based on available information provided to the Sponsor, and the value of the Prize awarded to the Winner may be reported to the IRS as required by law. The Winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, related to acceptance and use of the Prize. The Grand Prize winner must provide the Sponsor with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before the Prize will be awarded. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from the Sponsor in a calendar year will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reporting the value of those prizes to the IRS.
10. Certain Conditions: The Grand Prize Winner must satisfy all eligibility requirements stated herein and be available ON OR BEFORE June 30, 2025, to allow Sponsor’s personnel to inspect Winner’s premises and determine that the Prize can be installed. If the Prize cannot be installed at Winner’s premises, the Winner forfeits the Prize and another Winner from the applicable Eligible Location will be selected. The Winner and Sponsor’s personnel will agree on a mutually acceptable installation date, provided such installation shall be performed no later than August 30, 2025.
11. Rights Granted by You: By entering this Sweepstakes you understand that Sponsor or anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor or its respective licensees, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the World, your Entry, and your name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information as news, publicity or information and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation.
12. Elimination and Termination: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other cause beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor may select the Winner from all eligible Entries received in the Eligible Location prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Rules.
Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void Entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple Entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple Entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by these Rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made; Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to receive email newsletters, promotional materials, and telephone solicitations periodically from Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, or representatives. You can opt-out of receiving this communication at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or requesting no further contact.
13. Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release Sponsor and Station, along with their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and Sweepstakes agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors (together with Sponsor, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages) or expense (including attorneys’ fees) that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) your participation in the Sweepstakes and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any Prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of Entries.
The Released Parties will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; your failure to receive Prize notices due to your spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for your provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this Sweepstakes; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes, or announcement of the Prize. If, in the Sponsor’s opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this Sweepstakes in a manner deemed appropriate by the Sponsor. In the event of termination, Winner will be selected from among all eligible Entries in the applicable Eligible Location received as of date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, Entries will be declared made by the name on the Entry form.
BY ENTERING, YOU SPECIFICALLY AND KNOWINGLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY, AND A TRIAL BY JURY IS HEREBY WAIVED BY BOTH YOU AND SPONSOR. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE WAIVING RIGHTS WITH RESPECT TO CLAIMS THAT ARE AT THIS TIME UNKNOWN OR UNSUSPECTED, AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUCH WAIVER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND, AND HEREBY EXPRESSLY WAIVE, THE BENEFITS OF SECTION 1542 OF THE CIVIL CODE OF CALIFORNIA, AND ANY SIMILAR LAW OF ANY STATE, COUNTRY OR TERRITORY, WHICH PROVIDES AS FOLLOWS: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.”
14. Disputes: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND OHIO WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Ohio having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall you be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses. You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
15. Warranty and Indemnity: Each entrant represents and warrants that their Entry is original, that they are the sole and exclusive owner and right holder of the submitted Entry, and that they have the right to submit the Entry in the Sweepstakes. Each entrant further represents and warrants that their Entry does not (1) infringe any third party proprietary, intellectual property, industrial property, personal rights or other rights, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or confidentiality obligation; (2) include any personally identifiable information of any person other than entrant; or (3) otherwise violate any applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each entrant indemnifies and agrees to keep indemnified the Released Parties at all times from and against any liability, actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses for or in respect of which the Released Parties may become liable by reason of or related or incidental to any act, default or omission by an entrant under these Rules including without limitation resulting from or in relation to any breach, non-observance, act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of these Rules by an entrant.
16. No Third-Party Sponsor: This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or in association with any person or other entity, including any third party, other than Sponsor with the exception of the “On Air Method of Entry” which shall be conducted by the Station as outlined in Section 4. NAMES, LOGOS AND OTHER MATERIALS ARE USED FOR PURPOSES OF SWEEPSTAKES AND/OR PRIZE DESCRIPTION ONLY. ALL TRADEMARKS, SERVICE MARKS, TRADE NAMES, TRADE DRESS, PRODUCT NAMES AND LOGOS APPEARING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES ARE THE PROPERTY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS; USE DOES NOT IMPLY AFFILIATION OR ENDORSEMENT.
17. Severability: If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
18. Winners List: To obtain a copy of the Winner’s name or a copy of these Rules, mail your request to: Leaf Home Enhancements, LLC, Attn: Extreme Window Makeover Sweepstakes, 1595 Georgetown Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236. Requests must be received no later than June 30, 2025.
